When we finally selected a house, Alisa helped us negotiate a contingency offer dependent on the sale of our condo. We didn't think we'd ever get a contingency offer accepted, but Alisa assisted us in creating a convincing yet affordable offer that was accepted. "From the beginning of our house hunt, we knew we had a stellar agent in Alisa. Not only was every transaction with her thorough and professional, but we also knew that she was always on top of every aspect of the process, which allowed us to relax and trust her every step of the way! Our house hunt proved difficult on many levels: one, what we were looking for did not come up on the MLS very often, yet with Alisa’s connections and thorough research, we were able to find exactly what we were looking for prior to the house hitting the market, allowing us to lock in a very competitive price. Second, because the house we fell in love with was a short sale with three loans, while to other agents this may have been a deal-breaker, Alisa had worked enough short sales to actually get the deal done. I am quite sure if we did not have Alisa in our corner, the deal would never have gotten done due to the many levels of red tape and bureaucracy on the bank’s end of the transaction. She patiently listened to us when we were flooding her with first-time buyer questions, never pressured us to make decisions, and remained supportive during a particularly long lending process with our chosen lender. We went to at least five open houses with her, and for each she pointed out both the strong points as well as potential downsides. It always felt like she was genuinely representing our interests rather than pushing us to close a sale. Her attention to detail and organization really stood out during the escrow and document signing process.
